David P. Dexter

David Dexter joined White-Spunner & Associates in 2009. He has worked in commercial real estate since 2003, with early emphasis in office, industrial and land transactions. In 2006, David shifted his focus to the retail side of the business, handling leasing assignments at shopping centers in eight southeastern states.
David is a native of Mobile, Alabama, and graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Marketing. Before entering the field of commercial real estate, he specialized in governmental affairs in Washington, D.C. and was Executive Director of the Coastal Conservation Association of Alabama.
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Mobile Commercial Real Estate Exchange Club, National Association of Realtors, Alabama Association of Realtors and the Mobile Area Association of Realtors.
David and his wife, the former Catherine Macon Smith, have two children, Parker and Callie. The family attends Ashland Place United Methodist Church. In his limited spare time, Dexter enjoys hunting, fishing and outdoor activities.
